Nollywood actresses, guests of state CID

TWO Nollywood actresses Cha Cha Eke and Joyce Kalu last week were  guests of the state CID, Delta State, following a petition written against them by the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Movies, an Asaba based  production outfit.
The film maker has accused the actresses of defrauding his company as well as breach of contract.

HVP gathered that Cha Cha was arrested  while relaxing in her car, few minutes after she rounded off  the day’s shooting by men from the state CID.
Eye witness said Cha Cha’s  arrest did not go down well with Joyce, a mother of three children who immediately took to her heels, having   suspected the men to be kidnappers.
Impeccable source hinted that she reported at the police station the following morning after it became clear to her that  the men were not kidnappers.
Our source fuirther stated that the CEO of Diamond Movies petitioned the duo   before the state CID following what he described as “the unruly behaviour of the actresses” while on set.
He claimed that the actresses abandoned his set, which led to  delay in the completion of his production. “He started shooting the movie in Port-Harcourt, but had to  round it off in Asaba.” the source disclosed.
However, those who are used to the producer accused him  of not keeping to his own part of the business agreement.
According to fillers, while the producer was inconsistent with his schedule of work, his production was said to have clashed with the ones which the actresses already have been booked  for.
At the moment,  the police have  threatened to charge the case to court if, upon the expiration of one week, should the parties fail to resolve their differences.
