Popstar D’banj and Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh have added another year.
D’banj (32) who performed at the Star Trek
concert in Benin, Edo State in the early hours of today, Saturday, June
9, 2012 couldn’t hold back the excitement as he happily announced to
the audience it was his birthday and asked for a ‘special treatment’
from any Kokolet of his choice.
‘Blame it on my Oliver Twist nature‘, D’banj naughtily said.
D’Bbanj shares this birthdate with controversial actress Tonto Dikeh and comedian Basorge Tariah Jr.
Dikeh, 27, first runner up at 2005 edition of The Next Movie Star
reality show was recently nominated in the ‘Best Entertainment
Personality’ category in the forthcoming Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
Now 45, Basorge, who rose to national
fame as ‘Do Good’ (the character of a domestic staff he played in the
popular soap ’Candle Light’), is an actor, comedian, compere and
entrepreneur. He now runs his own record label Solid Star Records and has already signed his first artiste Darlene Cobham.
